Specialist Professional Graduate Study in Digital Economy was conceived after thoroughgoing consultations with the representatives of successful enterprises in the realm of computing and IT and communications, which the Zagreb University of Applied Sciences has been collaborating with for many years following the instructions given in strategic documents of the Republic of Croatia emphasizing the necessity of linking academic sector with the labour market, insisting on measurable and applicable learning outcomes.
Great competitive advantage of the Specialist Professional Graduate Study in Digital Economy lies in the fact that this study programme provides required knowledge in the field of both social and technical sciences, which makes it unique in the Republic of Croatia. Students who have obtained at least 180 ECTS upon completing an undergraduate study programme in the field of technical or social sciences at a higher education institution are enabled to enter the Specialist Professional Graduate Study in Digital Economy by simple credit transfer.
Each academic year, 60 part-time students can be enrolled on the Specialist Professional Graduate Study in Digital Economy who attend lectures in the afternoon on weekdays. Courses in the first year of the graduate study are compulsory for all students, while the following three elective modules will be offered in the second year of the study programme:
