Study programme in Mechanical Engineering is aimed at the students who have the urge for professional development and lifelong learning – which enables a mechanical engineer to continuosly keep up with the cutting-adge technical, technological and IT advances.
The main goal of the study programme is to train prospective mechanical engineers to independently do the jobs related to designing, constructing, testing, managing and maintaining mechanical devices and facilities. Holders of the Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering are able to ensure the production processes operate succesfully and achieve the goals, which means to take care of technology, equipment and products in the controlled environment.
The main goal of the study programme is to train prospective mechanical engineers to independently do the jobs of designing, testing, managing and maintaining mechanical devices and facilities. Mechanical engineer can recognise technical and organisational issues in the process of production and exploitation of mechanical products and propose the ways how to remove the flaws.
During the studying, computer and specialised labs with modern equipment and software tools are available to the students, providing conditions for prospective mechanical engineers to acquire competences which are in high demand on the labour market.
Enrolment quota for the undergraduate study programme in Mechanical Engineering is 30 full-time and 60 part-time students for the following current area of study:
Production Engineering
