After obtaining a Bachelor of Mechatronics degree, you will have been trained to design and maintain mechatronic systems.
Once you have completed this professional study program, you will have been trained for employment in manufacturing activities, organizations and public and private enterprises and business entities operating in industries such as the metal processing and electromechanical industries, pharmaceutical and food industries, including manufacturers of white goods and any other mechatronic equipment.
Focus – In the Mechatronics study program we focus on being always up-to-date with technological advances and developments in the realm of industry. Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary combination and interaction of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Computing components in the context of mechatronic systems. The knowledge obtained by students include knowledge in automation, robotics, embedded systems, sensorics, electromotor drives and essentials of entrepreneurship.
The duration of the Undergraduate Professional Study in Mechatronics is three (3) academic years over six (6) semesters. On completion of this study program, the student will have earned 180 ECTS points and will be awarded the degree of a Bachelor of Mechatronics.
To bring this interdisciplinary world of engineering closer to you, we have entered into many cooperation agreements with economic operators where practical courses involving real-world engineers will teach you how to perform your first engineering tasks and perhaps make some initial contacts that will help you find employment.
Studying Mechatronics at ZUAS will allow you to use interdisciplinary skills to design and maintain machinery and automated industrial systems and, if you tend to have an innovative approach, you can use it for your own business as a private entrepreneur. In short, by using the knowledge and skills obtain you will be able to help implement the last industrial revolution – Industry 4.0.
